Petrol wood chippers – turn branches into useful chips

A petrol-powered wood chipper (shredder) makes short work of the branch piles left after pruning – producing wood chips for mulch, compost or kindling. We stock SKIF and WEIMA chippers plus the Jansen BX/JX series, working independently of mains power in the orchard, garden or farmyard.

How to choose a chipper

• Branch diameter: the key spec – our machines handle branches up to 6.5–10 cm depending on model.
• Engine: 6.5–15 HP petrol units work anywhere, no cables or power limits.
• Throughput: for regular orchard pruning pick a model with a wider hopper and transport wheels.
