The especially robust construction of the mulch mower AG-180 with hydraulic lateral traverse function is suitable for mounting in the front and in the rear.
It has a special reinforced angular gearbox and is outstanding in its operation. The flail mower has a mowing width of 178 cm and is driven using a P.T.O, included as part of the delivery. The mowing unit also has a hydraulic lateral traverse function of 250 mm and can be moved to both left and right. For this function you need a hydraulic control circuit on your tractor, as the mower unit has a double-action hydraulic cylinder for this purpose.
This mowing unit can be mounted on both sides and can be attached to either the front or rear three-point linkages of your tractor (Cat. I + Cat. II). Many competitors supply this mower with a 540 rpm gearbox. This is unproffessionel because all front-pto´s have 1.000 rpm. Our Mower has this 1.000 rpm gearbox! This mower unit has the most heavy-duty gearbox in its class. Unlike mower units equipped with light Y blades, this mower has high inertia generated by the heavy hammer blades and heavy shaft. This allows our machine to perform better. The 16 specially hardened, 1.2 kg hammer blades, which are arranged on a double spiral drive shaft, shred clippings to a minimum size. Even very high grass, bushy or straw-like clippings are no problem for this mower!
The mulcher additionally has a trailing roller and a freewheel gearbox. The cutting height can be set with the top controller and the runners mounted on the side. The suspended, galvanised slats at the front of the mower unit prevents stones escaping. Your tractor should have at least 45 HP.
Note: The device is delivered well packed and part-assembled in a wooden crate. You should allow approx. 1-2 hours for final assembly. A step by step assembly guide as well as several detailed diagrams are part of the manual that comes with your mower. Assembly is not difficult. However, in the event that you require any assistance, we are happy to help you. The gearbox is dry and must be filled with oil (80W90, approx. 2 litre) prior to use.
